Coretex Consulting has been selected by the S2M Evolution Alliance to provide human factors engineering support for Phase 2 of the Stepheson Avenue Extension project. This project involves a wide range of stakeholders including: The Public Transport Authority, City of Stirling and Main Roads.
The project includes:
- A new connection from Cedric Street to Scarborough Beach Road
- A new grade-separated Mitchell Freeway interchange with a southbound Smart Freeway on-ramp
- New local road links to Ellen Stirling Boulevard
- A new road connecting Sarich Court to Cedric Street east of the freeway;
- A new Principal Shared Path (PSP) on the east side of the Mitchell Freeway from Telford Crescent to Civic Place, including an underpass at Stephenson Avenue; and
- New cycle and pedestrian paths along Stephenson Avenue and connections to the new PSP.
